You will be responsible for managing, retaining and growing revenue within the corporate markets
such as high technology industry. This involves being responsible for sales and customer relationship
(may include new sales and revenue quota attainment). In addition, you will be responsible for
forecasting and keeping management up to date on accounts in a timely manner, gathering intelligence
on competitor activity and giving feedback to the marketing team. This also involves tracking customer
activity in internal systems in order to execute the account strategy and identify additional opportunities.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be able to focus on customer satisfaction,
understand the customer’s business and workflows and develop proper network within the accounts.
You will also work with and bring in experts/specialists onto the team when required. You should have
an oversight of all account activities. This role may require you to provide customer product training when
necessary. You will also need to be accountable for individual expense budget management.
Responsibilities:
- Meet customer to maintain relationship as well as discover customer’s issue for sales opportunity
- Proceed sales activity with customer to close deal- Report sales status and discuss sales action plan
with the manager.
- Update sales status in to the sales operation system (Sales Force Automation System)
- Manage healthy sales pipeline and conduct sales forecasting.
Qualifications
- Direct sales experience or customer facing experience in corporate sector especially high tech, automobile
and petrochemical industry.
- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
- Experience in solution selling or service selling.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to identify, develop and articulate a complex proposition/
consultative selling.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.- Ability to develop and execute a sales plan
- Problem solving skills
– Ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good understanding for corporate innovation, strategy/planning and R&D process.
