Product
- responsible for identifying local requirements and functional specifications of international trade procedures for the
purpose of localizing our leading Global Trade Management system for your country market. In addition to describing
these requirements your job will include working with product management and product development teams to prioritize
the feature sets and help ensure the accuracy of the finalized software product. You will also be responsible for
monitoring the changes of these procedures and the underlying legislation to keep our product up-to-date.
Content
- You will also be overseeing content requirements and content collection related to your market. This includes defining
the content requirements and validating that content collected is accurate and meets expectations. Additionally, the trade
specialists analyzes the impact of impact this content on product requirements (i.e. rules of origin requirements and
customs authorities compliance rules).
Commercialization
- Additionally, you will support the sales processes by serving as an expert advisor on how our systems can improve
a company’s trading operation, including analyzing feasibility, requirements, and hypothetical costs savings for special
customs programmes, free-trade agreements and standard import/ export processes. You will present and demonstrate
our solutions to customers and engage with sales teams to bring on new customers. You will work with our sales and
customer service teams to help them understand the local trade management process and the use of our product to
automate the procedures.

direction and by helping companies operating in your country to improve their global trade and customs processes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Area: International Trade, Trade/customs related law,
International Logistics, IT, or related areas.
• The candidate must have solid hands-on experience in international trade processes in your country, related
auditing procedures, and local legislation on international trade, including the following:
• Trade Compliance including tariff classification, duty abatement, and supporting compliance with government
regulations.
• Customs Legislation and Regulation
• Requirements of Fiscal Authorities
• Auditing and consulting in Foreign Trade
• Duty reduction schemes included bonded zones, drawback, etc..
• Free Trade Agreements: qualification, rules of origin and operational compliance
• International Logistic workflows
• Local Customs System workflows
• Experience in large-scale IT systems (like ERP) implementation or business analysis for the purposes of process
improvement or IT system development will be considered an advantage.
• Fluent in Korean and English - additional Asian languages considered a plus
• Strong holistic understanding of trade compliance procedures and regulations
• Process mapping techniques
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer oriented & customer facing experience
• Entrepreneurial and willing to work with a new product in a fast-paced internal start-up environment
